My passion for helping new families started at 15 when I had the amazing experience of being a live-in Newborn Specialist for overseas military families. Once back in the United States, I advanced my education in the medical field in pursuit of my passion to “catch babies.” In 2002 I became a birth doula and attended my first birth. That birth was the spark that ignited my path to becoming a Midwife.

In 2015 I graduated from Nizhoni Institute of Midwifery in San Diego, CA, and became a California Licensed Midwife. My time as a home and birth center Midwife and my journey through Motherhood, brought awareness of the limitations we face in the postpartum period, and how invaluable it is to have a knowledgeable support system during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

My mission is to gently guide families in finding what parenting ways work best for them, while showing families how to listen to their baby’s needs early on, utilizing my 28+ years of experience and education.

I feel so honored to support families on this journey!
